Flight Training

Let Our Instructors Teach You To Fly... It's Free!

The Huronia Radio Control Club can help you get started in the hobby, provide a safe place to fly, arrange for liability insurance, and its members can provide a wealth of information on every aspect of the sport.

In addition, the club has volunteer instructors who can help you learn to fly. An instructor can show you how to operate your model in a safe manner and will teach you the skills needed to earn your MAAC wings.

Flight Training Documents

Please feel free to print out the following documents for reference. The Student Training Guide must accompany you to all training sessions to help you and your instructor guide your progress through the training program.

Transport Canada RPAS Exam Information

The Basic RPAS Exam is rather simple. It is a multiple choice open book exam. You have 90 minutes to take the exam. The cost for Transport Canada's RPAS exams is $10 for the Basic exam and $10 for the Advanced exam, with each retake costing the same amount.

The RPAS Study Guide is an easy to read guide with all the info.

The All Information Required for Basic RPAS Exam document is information extracted from the government rules books. It is written in legal ease, but good to search for the answer.
